Okay so a close friend of mine just turned in his mission papers today and he is adorable and hilarious and just a total sweetheart so an Elder Starnes Appreciation post was in order ya feel?

Update:
On Saturday Matthew received his mission call! We had a big party wherein he opened the letter in front of everyone. All the high school aged kids in our ward are very very close; we all love each other like family, it’s great. I don’t think there was one person who was not crying after he opened his papers. He opened up his letter, and here’s what his call was….
“Dear Elder Starnes,
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the BRAZIL (SAO PAULO) FIELD.”
I can’t even handle this and it’s not even my mission. I’m so so excited!
